Why Environment Matters
Refrigerators are rated for a specific ambient temperature range (typically Class T, ST, SN, or N — ranging from 10°C to 43°C depending on rating). Humidity affects door seal effectiveness, condensation management, and the rate at which the compressor must work. An out-of-spec environment affects performance, efficiency, and component longevity.
